When the mind grows still, feelings awaken

The melody of this music piece came to me during a precious moment of silence. I recorded the melody with a melodica because of it's intimate and peaceful sound. The more the music evolves the more the orchestra takes over bringing contrasting colors.

2025 has been great among other projects this one was a great experience:

I had the honour of creating the soundtrack for this wonderful documentary about the life and teachings of the pioneering marine biologist and evolutionary researcher. A very nice task, as Rupert Riedl's message that it is important to preserve nature and conserve resources is very much in line with my attitude towards nature and animals.

The premiere at the Vienna Künstlerhaus cinema on 14 May 2025 was an unforgettable experience.

A new composition and guitar improvisation of mine is released on Sunday 19. June 2022. It is called "Inside" and is part of a cycle of music pieces called "Voices of Nature". Again it is deeply inspired by my love for nature life. It reflects the feelings I have during walking through the wood and all the big and small things I become aware of if I open my eyes and ears. Its also based on the rhythm of nature ambience. A second release a few weeks later will be with the nature ambience. So you can listen to the music alone or with singing birds and rustling leaves. It will also be on the website in a few days with even better technical quality. Hope you all enjoy it. Markus
